You don't have to know what kind of help you need before asking for it.

Welcome to Jacob's House

Jacob's House is here for anyone who feels vulnerable, frightened, overwhelmed or unsure where to turn.

You might be a young person having a difficult time. You might be an adult struggling with something you have never spoken about before. You might be worried about a friend or someone in your family.

There is no single definition of vulnerability.

You might be dealing with bullying, abuse, problems at home, loneliness, anxiety, threats, harassment, homelessness, money worries, exploitation, or thoughts and feelings you are struggling to cope with.

Sometimes you might simply know something is wrong, but not know what to call it.

Jacob's House is here to help you find the right place to turn.

We are not therapists, counsellors or an emergency service. We are a signposting resource. Our aim is to make finding proper help simpler, especially at a time when searching for help might feel difficult.
