  1. Voucher validity
  • Valid for 12 months from purchase date.
  • Book and attend within this period.
  • Expired vouchers hold no value.
  • No extensions unless required by law. 
  1. Booking
  • Book using the code shown on the voucher by website or email.
  • Bring the code on the day.
  • Arrive 10 minutes early. Late arrival reduces session time without refund. 
  1. Transfers, rescheduling, no-shows. 
  • Transfer to another person at no charge. Tell us the new name before the session.
  • One reschedule allowed up to 7 days before the session.
  • No-shows and late cancellations inside 7 days are non-refundable.
  1. Changes or cancellations by Jacob’s Bagels 
  • We reserve the right to change dates, times, instructors, or session content.
  • We reserve the right to cancel sessions or remove courses.
  • If we cancel or remove courses, choose a new date or request a refund at the purchase price. No payment for travel, parking, time, or other costs. 
  1. Travel, access, and parking
  • You hold full responsibility for safe travel to and from the venue.
  • You hold full responsibility for arrival and departure in the immediate area.
  • Park only in marked areas or public bays and follow local rules.
  • You hold full responsibility for vehicle and contents.
  • We accept no liability for loss, theft, damage, fines, or towing.
  1. Safety and conduct on site
  • You hold full responsibility for personal safety while on site.
  • Follow instructor directions at all times.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes and sensible clothing. Tie back long hair. Avoid loose sleeves and dangling jewellery.
  • No alcohol or drugs before or during the session. Entry refused where a safety risk exists.
  1. Allergies, food safety, and health
  • The bakery handles wheat, gluten, sesame, nuts, seeds, and other allergens. Cross-contact risk exists.
  • Share allergy and medical details before booking. We will advise on suitability.
  • Bring required medication and use as directed.
  • Do not attend when unwell. Contact us to discuss options. 
  1. Accessibility and home environment
  • No wheelchair access.
  • Multiple steps at door thresholds throughout the route.
  • Narrow doorways and uneven surfaces in places.
  • Toilets are reached through the attached private home.
  • Expect to pass through parts of the home for toilets or waiting.
  • Respect household privacy at all times.
  • Contact us before booking to discuss needs. If safe access is not possible, do not book.
  1. Age and supervision
  • Sessions suit ages 16+. Under 16s require prior agreement and a supervising adult attendee.
  1. What the price includes
  • Tuition, ingredients, and use of equipment unless stated otherwise.
  • Take-home items vary by session and are for personal use, not resale.
  1. Lost or stolen vouchers 
  • Treat the code like cash. Keep proof of purchase.
  • Replacement needs proof of purchase and unused status.
  1. Prices and session details
  • Prices and session details change from time to time.
  • We honour the voucher purchase price when booking within validity.
  1. Consumer rights for distance sale 
  • Purchases online or by phone include a 14-day cooling-off period from purchase date, provided no date is booked within that period and no service has begun.
  • If you request service within 14 days and we confirm a date in that period, the cooling-off right ends.
  • Refunds go to the original payer at the purchase price.
  1. Liability
  • Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability law does not allow us to limit.
  • For other loss, total liability is limited to the amount paid for the voucher.
  • No liability for travel, accommodation, parking, loss of earnings, or any indirect loss 
  1. Photography and media
  • We sometimes take photos or short videos for marketing. Tell the instructor before the session if you do not wish to appear.
  1. Personal data
  • See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data. We use details to manage bookings, safety, and payments.
  1. House rules
  • We refuse entry or ask someone to leave for unsafe behaviour, abuse, or disruption. No refund in these cases.
  1. Governing law
  • English law governs these terms. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
